If home is where you hang your hat, would anywhere really be home? Would you have a place to rethink when you did something wrong? Would you have a place to rest your head when night falls? Would there be a place where you can dream big dreams? Or would you have to conform to what others think you should be? Some people think that home is where you hang your hat, but I think home is so much more than that Home is a place where you feel accepted and safe Home is where you find peace Home is laughter Home is love Home is beautiful like a dove Home is happiness Home is care As Ralph Waldo Emerson says “A house is made of walls and beams; a home is made of love and dreams.” So thank you Habitat for Humanity for helping more people to see what home is like for you and me.
