I Love my Home

Home. Hmmm, home is a big topic. A big beautiful topic. It’s like a flower blooming slowly in the sun, it gets bigger as it grows. Same with my love for my home. I love my home so much. Like a lot! I can’t imagine if I didn't have a home. Even in the biggest of storms and the hottest of days, my mom and I wouldn't have shelter or safety. I love my home, I love food that makes me feel all warm on the inside. I love my bed with my soft blankets and cozy pillows. If I didn’t have a home I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my mom’s homemade pasta or have a good night sleep. I love my family. If I didn’t have my home I wouldn't get to have my cat. She's my best friend and I love her so much. I love my backyard. It makes me excited for the summer, so I can play in it. If I didn’t have a home I wouldn't be able to play on my trampoline with my friends. I would also not get to do cartwheels across the grass, while laughing and having a summer treat. I love everything about my home and I can't imagine not having one. So thank you so much, Habitat For Humanity, for giving people something they can love.
