What Home Feels like to Me

Walking into my house makes me feel safe and calm. I smell home cooked food. Seeing my house makes me feel comfortable. Seeing my family brings me joy and makes me appreciate that we have a warm house to stay in with them. I have two brothers and three sisters. We all love each other so much. I am grateful for my family. I love making special memories that we will never forget and l am lucky to have my own house to make them in. I wish every kid could have a home. I appreciate the food that my dad makes. It is the best food I have ever had, like his chilli. I am so grateful for my warm bed and my bedroom. Thanks to Hope for Humanity more and more kids can get homes of their own. This is what home feels like to me.
