One Word

Home. How can one word mean so much, but some people don’t have a place to call theirs? A house? A building? An apartment? No. A home is more than that. It's a place to live, exist, be. A place to love and be loved by those around you. A home is a safe space. Your safe space, to fill with things you love. To grow and be yourself. A place to laugh and share memories old and new with your favourite people. A place where even if you move to another house, it feels just like home, because you have people to get through it with. For me, home is calm, cozy, and warm. Home is cheerful, exciting, and filled with happy memories. Home is where we feel safe and filled with so much love. Home is where to relax. Home is where you can grow old surrounded by everyone you love. Even if you’re having a bad day, if you’re home, you are fine.
