The Meaning of Home

Home has warm delicious food waiting on the table for me But a house just has food waiting to be cold. A home is a loving environment where you feel safe and loved But a house doesn’t need to be any of those. A home has a cozy bed and room waiting for me But a house just has a room that is empty and cold. A home is where I store memories with family But a house is where you share it with random people A home is a place you can’t replace But a house can just be replaced once it’s broken Home is where I can play games with family and have a good laugh In a house you can still laugh but it won’t be with who you cherish A home can be broken but its the family members that put it back together But a house can’t be put back together like that Home is unique to everybody But a house can look like any other regular building near me Home is a place I love and where I feel loved But a house? It's just a building
