Home

Home is a place where I can be myself. I don’t need to pretend to be something I’m not. In my home, I always feel safe and cozy, and my family is always there for me. Every two days, my mum and I take our dog, Max, for walks after dinner. We stop at the little free libraries around the neighbourhood. My cat, Nico, is an indoor/outdoor cat who stays close to home. Max is always energetic and a little crazy, but Nico, on the other hand, is usually sleeping on the couch, beds, or even chairs. I love my home because it is calm, cozy, and a little crazy all at the same time. Sometimes my family and I play games together. It doesn’t matter what kind of game we play—whether it’s a board game, a video game, or even a game on Netflix—we always have fun. I love my room, except for my bed. Soon, I am going to get a double bed so I can get rid of the loft bed I have had for a year. My cat loves sleeping on my bed, but sadly, my dog is not allowed on the furniture. Nico is brown, white, beige, and a little black, with blue eyes. Max, on the other hand, is white and grey with brown eyes. They can both have lots of energy one moment and none at all the next. That is what home means to me.
