To Me This is Home

To me, Home is important to everyone do you see? A house is not strong, But deep in your heart you know a home is where you belong. Over time a house can start to rust, But a home will not because it’s full of trust. Home is eating ice cream on a cone, At a place near my home. Home is loving to see my family together, And I hoping it will stay like that forever. Home is snuggling up with my soft cover, And I just start to wonder. Home is greeting my family with a smile on my face, as I walk down the stairs with so much grace. Home is calling my favourite person in my room late at night, With her voice so soothing and bright. Home is playing board games with my grandpa before dinner, Let’s be honest I’m not always a winner. Home is when I go downstairs, and I ask my grandma to give me my favorite breakfast in pairs. Home is thinking about my hometown in Punjab when I blink, I’d love if everyone can have a thought like that, I think. If everyone were to get a home that is safe, We wouldn’t need to go on a chase. If everyone can have a place to stay, then our world will be more than okay. If the people of the world get a better place, My work will be done and we will live in grace. I love my home, and it loves me too, I hope Habitat for Humanity will create a home just for you.
