My Meaning of Home

Home isn’t just a place you feel safe; it’s a place of love. When you come home to see family or pets, you feel your happiness go up. When you're feeling down, but your family cheers you up. Home is a place of warmth and kindness. Where your family is nice even when they're not. Where you feel warmth when you're around them. Home has a bigger meaning than we think. Home is a place where you can do anything, be anything. Home is a beautiful place, a place where you belong. Home is a comfortable place. Where you tell secrets that are kept safe, where you're never alone. Where people laugh at jokes and talk at the supper table. Where you can say anything and be anything. Home is like your fantasy, a place you made up yourself. Somewhere you can see and hear what you want to. Like falling onto a cloud. Home is like a cloud, a bouncy piece of fluff underneath you. Like a safe shield of warmth. After you fall, you land on a cloud. Like a soft cushion under your feet, that’s been there the whole time. Home has all you need. Where you have the warmest bed and comfiest couch. You have food and water, so you don't dehydrate or starve. Home has everything. Everyone's home is different, but they are all just as awesome. We have all got different homes, some are bigger than others, while some are smaller than others. Home is my everything. It’s a safe haven, a place I can be myself, you have one too just not the same one. Sometimes your home has to move, and that's ok, just know you aren’t alone.
