Home. What does home mean to me?

Well, home is any four walls that enclose the right people. Home is where you can be yourself and be safe. Home is where my mother makes food and my siblings and I play board games. Home is where my dad does repairs and my grandparents tell us stories. The home is split into different rooms for a reason. The living room is where my family and I have conversations and laugh and play together. It’s where the family comes together after work and school to talk. The dining room is where we eat my mom’s amazing food and chat about our day. My room is where I relax and read books in silence. The kitchen is where my mom cooks and makes amazing food. A home is not just a building, it's the core of my family. It’s the shelter we hide under together and have fun. Home is where I listen to music and look outside to the backyard. Home is an amazing place. Home means that if I’m ever lost I can always come back to it. Home means that there will always be a place for me to come back. That’s what home means to me, it’s the place that will always look out for me. Home will always contain people that care about me. Home is that beautiful place that makes me feel cared for. Home is amazing. Home will always be the amazing place where I can laugh and play and make good memories with my family. It's where I feel comfortable sharing my deepest secrets. It will always be the place that holds the family together. It is the core of the family. I love home.
