Home: "The place where one lives"

A home can be anywhere as long as you live there and as long as you feel loved. A home can come I different shapes and sizes. If you live in an apartment, then that apartment is your home, if you live in a beautiful mansion then that beautiful mansion is your home. All homes are different, some may have red walls, while others may have white walls. The word "home" originates from the Old English word "hām", meaning dwelling. Some people think that homes have to be big with huge arches and enormous stairs. This is clearly unrealistic, you see if one thinks that a home has to be huge and modern, they will feel bad about their home. The people who live in a home are usually people who are important to you, and the people who will end up playing a big role in your life. In a home you should feel a sense of belonging. You know that old saying, " Home, Sweet, Home"? This saying is used as an expression of returning to someone's home. This shows that you should feel happy or relived, not sad or stressed. If you feel sad when you return home, you should probably speak to your family members. Remember, your home is where your heart is, it should be filled with people you love and make you feel safe. The memories, you have in your home will always be with you.
