Home is where my heart is

Home is where my heart belongs. My home isn’t just a regular house; it is where my family and I spend time together, relax and create memories. My bedroom is the place where I study hard, have sleepovers with friends, and invest in crafts or other types of art. The living room is a space where my family and I sit together, relax and watch our favourite shows. Sometimes I occupy myself with reading, crocheting, or sketching on my sofa. My egg-shaped swing is a special spot for me where I relax while reading my favourite book. The kitchen is another important space for me; it is where me and my parents whisk up new concoctions together, laughing and giggling as the delicious smell of our cooking drifts through the house. My balcony is one of the most special places ever! It’s where I spend time with my grandparents in the summer when they visit. We relax as we bask in the sunshine and I bury myself in a book. Overall, home is an amazing place where I can be myself. You can take me out of my home but can’t take my home out of me.
