Why a House isn't a Home
Around 300 Million people worldwide are homeless, and around 3 Billion people don't have a proper house. That means only 59.26% of the world is properly housed. Those people, that have no house, could have a home. How? Well, a house is a building made out of wood, metal or rock. A house is a shelter that protects people. But a home is a nice, joyful place that is where a person lives. A person can live in a house, yes, but also can live in a cave. A home can also be for animals. Animals live in trees, swamps, oceans, and many more places inside our beautiful world. Same as us, animals’ homes are sheltered. Even if it’s as little as a little leaf, or as big as a cave’s ceiling, they all have a shelter of some sort. Everybody and everything that is living has something special and unique in their home. In my home, we have a few things that we may or may not do on purpose. In my home, my amazing family buys pizza weekly sometimes. We buy pizza from the local Little Caesars® and eat it at home. We also watch sports and comedy at night with my dad. I like doing all of this because it’s fun and appetizing. It’s also nice because it’s when I spend time with my family. It’s the end but before you leave I have a question for you. What’s something that YOUR family does unlike the rest?
