The Meaning of Home

A home ... What is it? It's not just where you live, it's more meaningful. You feel safe, calm, there's no reason to be afraid. You smell your mom's home cooked chicken soup,you feel warm and comfortable. A home would not be the same without family. The memories of playing with my cousins. In your home you belong, you are loved and cared for. A home isn't always sweet, sometimes it's sweet and sour, and from those sour moments you learn. If you look at someone's home and say no one would live there you are wrong, it could be that someone's everything. It could be where they grew up to be that person they are. When you come home and you can hear your dad asking where the car keys are as usual you can also hear your mom making lunch and your sister playing video games. When you think about things you realize it's the family that keeps the home together.
