Home is your Safe Place

A home is where you are safe and you feel like you can be you. When you enter your home you belong. In my home we do fun activities like movie nights, game nights, play board games and go walks together. The weather is always warm and cozy in your home. At home you will never groan cause your family will be right by your side even through the cold snowy days. It doesn't matter where or what your house is, what matters is that your family is with you. Home is not a thing, it is a feeling when you feel warm. In your house it will never storm. You will never get an ache when you are in your house. I bake cake and bread with my mom. In my home there are pictures on the wall, they are memories of the fun days that we had. When ordinary days turn into an extraordinary, amazing day. A house is a place, a shelter, you may think it is the same thing as home, but it's not! In the kitchen my mom cooks delicious food, in the living room we make memories together, and in the basement we play games like tag and monkey in the middle. When I feel moody my sister brightens up my day. We watch TV together. Like in the winter we play in the backyard which is full of snow, and in the summer we play in the park. That is what home means to me.
