That Dress

My name is Bell and there is this dress that makes me feel as cozy as home. It is the prettiest dress I have seen. There is one problem, my sister owns it. It is the most perfect dress ever. It's yellow with yellow ruffles and it's so comfy. It is kinda like pyjamas that look nice. I have been trying for years to get that dress but my sister won't give it to me. One day my mom was going through my sisters closet and it looked to small for her, my mom was like “does this dress fit you?’’ and long story short I did not. So I was jumping for joy. I was so ready for school I was ready to show everyone I was beautiful. As I was walking I saw this girl who has raggedy clothes and I could tell she wished she had my dress. I felt almost wordless but felt bad. My heart broke but at the same time it felt weird, almost as weird as green jelly, it made my skin crawl. I was off the whole day wondering what I should do. My friends were talking about the girl and making fun of her the whole time. I got to school the next day with me in shorts and a t-shirt and the girl was full of joy. The girl came up to me and said “thanks, but can I ask you why” and I said “no problem, if this dress makes me feel as cozy as home, hopefully it will for you too!”
