What is Home?
What does home mean? It isn’t just a house or a building that you live in, it’s somewhere you believe is safe, you know it like the top of your head. Instead of just a location you take residence at, it protects you from things like the rain, strong winds, and noise. It’s the place where you have fun and work. But most importantly, it’s the place where you spend time with your family. You do your tasks and routines.
For some people, a home might be a small little house. For other people, it might be a giant mansion housing many riches. But for some people, home isn’t something they have. Why don’t they have one? Maybe they made the wrong choices to the point where they don’t have a job or a low paying one that could’ve been replaced by robots or other people without any problems. Maybe they were born poor and homeless and it stayed that way throughout their lives. If that’s the case, they just got unlucky. I don’t know what any of them did or why they did it, but whatever happened for them, it didn’t work out in any way.
Everyone would like a home, but not everyone has one. We should give sympathy to the ones who don’t have a home and honour the organisations helping them. Without them, those homeless people will always stay homeless. We should thank them for doing this.
