The Meaning of Home

What home means to me is a different feeling than most. People always say “Home makes me feel warm and happy!” But for me, my home means family. Family is everything to me. And I know that sounds familiar. Not to mention a little sappy. But still, my parents talk about moving, it makes me really nervous. I can probably settle in at a different house as long as my family is there, but it’d be hard. Anyway, we’ve gotten a little off track. Now where were we… Ah, yes. Why does family mean home to me? Well, I can stay almost anywhere without getting homesick. At least, if my family is there. Family offers a sense of security to me. A sense of security so strong that I find it very hard to sleep when they’re not around. I do want to see a new house, a house with new places to see. Still, I don’t want to move.
