The Meaning of Home

What the meaning of home means to me. Home can be anywhere no matter how small, no matter how big. Home is different, it can be near or it can be far but in my heart it's much more. It can be my siblings fighting ,then best friends the next day. My kitchen is a place my dad makes the best steak. The flavor hits you right in the face. My bathroom is a place where you would find me singing in the shower with my voice of mighty power. My room is a place where I could be myself in grace that is no mistake. My parents room is a place where I would say “mom ,dad how was your day.” My living room is a place where I would watch tv till my eyes pop out of me. My backyard is a place where my dad would cook on the grill and make our stomach completely filled. My basement is a place where I would play every single day. My laundry room is a place where clothes would get old “ Wow that shirt is really old” Most importantly my door that we go in and out to explore the world. Home is a place where tears, smiles, and laughter is made, but that’s home to me. My family is like a puzzle. You will always find the missing piece though. So you see my family is weird but that's the way we like it here! Thank you so much Habitat for Humanity for this chance. You help everyone find their home just like I found mine! That is home to me, thanks again! And thanks to my teacher for giving me this chance.
