Home is Never a Building with Four Walls

Home is never a building with four walls, it’s a bubbly feeling of joy inside. Home is my friend when I’m down, my room turns into my safe space, holding my tears, my laughter, and every version of me I don’t show the world. My bed becomes my personal hideout where I read books under the covers, where I do important things on my computer, or where I sleep safe and sound at night. It is the place where I feel the most comfortable and relaxed, no matter what kind of day I have had. The living room is where everyone comes together, whether it’s to talk, watch something, lie on the couch and read or just sit in the same space. It feels welcoming and familiar, and it reminds me that I’m not alone even when I’m quiet. The kitchen is another important part of my home. It’s where food is made and shared, and where simple moments happen that make the house feel alive. Being in the kitchen feels warm and comforting, especially knowing it’s a place connected to care and routine. All of these spaces together make my home feel complete. Each room has its own purpose, but they all give me a sense of safety, comfort, and belonging. That’s why home isn’t just a place—it’s where I feel most like myself.
