The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home to me is my family. The reason I have chosen my family is because I am unconditionally loved, I feel safe when I'm with my family. Whenever I'm with them, I have the greatest time. These three main reasons are why I feel my family is what feels like home. The main reason I picked my family is because they love and support me and surround me with positive energy. My family still loves me so much even when my decisions are not the always best. They help guide me with better choices to make sure I have a brighter future. They set me up with a positive foundation to help me achieve my goals. My family's love is the support I need to grow. My second reason for my family being my home is my family’s protection and helping me feel safe. They are there as support, so I feel no danger or negativity mentally or physically. They are always around to listen to me about my problems and worries and help me work through them and find solutions. My family makes sure I'm always in a safe environment, not just my body but my mind too. Lastly, my home is fun and positive, and my family helps create that. We always do creative projects and activities. For example, card games, hikes, cooking, baking, and much more. They make sure even tasks that are boring but must get done are fun or made into a game. Every responsivity is shared to make sure life is fun and not overwhelming. To me a home is not where you live, it's where you are loved, protected, and have fun. These things to me are my family. I'm lucky I feel my family is home.
