What Home Means To Me
Home isn’t just a place where you live, it's a place of laughter, love, and joy. If you care for your home, such as cleaning up the floor, and respect it with care, it will care for you by keeping you warm, cozy, and relaxed. When you're at home it gives you a safe feeling that you're inside your home without any trouble. Sometimes, there comes a time when you have to switch your home to another home. It may feel like your old home is being left behind but no, the family which comes to your home will take care of your old home just as you do.
In my home there is laughter, happiness, and silliness. Some people don’t have homes so some communities are raising money for the homeless. Whoever has a home is lucky because some people are struggling to find a home. It doesn’t matter how big or how small a home is, as long as it's cozy and warm.
A home is built by the memories people have within it. Some homes don’t have things that normal homes have but it’s okay. Some homes could be different from others.
The word "home" comes from an Old English word called "ham" which meant a village. For me, when I feel sad, I come home where I relax and feel better. It's where I heal from all of my problems. After school, when I come home, I am very happy because I can finally relax for the day. Home is where I do most of my stuff like sleeping, celebrating, and relaxing. Home is my happy place.
