Home Is My Happy Place

Whether it is a sunny day or a rainy day, a home always feels happy inside. Home is a place to feel safe and loved. Home is a place to celebrate traditions, it's a place to feel loved and feel the laughter of my dad and his jokes. Home is special to me because I feel loved and supported when I'm with my family. Home is a word that brings people joy and happiness, and a place to be yourself. On a sunny day I love to play at the park and play softball with all my friends, and bake delicious pastry’s with my mother. A home is a place to make memories and share laughter with my family. When all my family comes to my home or my grandparents place we make so many memories. I love all my family so much, I’ll always have them in my heart. Sometimes it's watching my older cousins play the sport they desire or even just spending time with them. I always feel loved. Maybe it’s just watching movies. We are always making funny or happy memories. I love my family. Me and my family always laugh together , it is always the highlight of my day. My friends are really supportive. My family always makes delicious food. Thanksgiving is my favorite because my grandmother always makes tasty food. She makes turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. My dad always cooks me savory dishes. It always includes protein so I can grow up to be strong and healthy. My family and friends support me, and I appreciate it so much. My friends cheer me on everyday!I am so grateful for my family and home . Thank you habitat for Humanity for giving me this opportunity to help people find their home.
