What makes my Home Special

What makes my home special? My home is like a big hug because I feel safe. I feel loved and l feel like I can fly high up in the sky . Most of all it is where my family is, where we make memories, where we laugh, we play games and watch movies and where I can be loved. l used to think that my home was a house and a structure but now l realized that my home was much more than a structure. It is something I like to call my happy place. Wherever I go my happy place will follow. I can always leave my house but I can never leave my home. My home is more than one place. It is also in my Grandma's when we have delicious take out and watch a movie and my room where I feel safe and happy. My home means so much to me. When it is cold and dark my house gives me shelter but my home gives me comfort and love. A house can be dark and scary at times but my home is loving and warm. When I play with my hamster laughter fills the air because my hamster is my happy place and my home. Sometimes if it is dark or scary I try to remember my home even in the darkest times because that's what makes me happy, and that is what makes my home special to me.
