Meaning of Home

What’s the meaning of home, some people may ask? Well, home is a place where you can let out your inner self and be whatever you want. It’s a magical place where everything that happens becomes a memory that is stored in one place. Kind of like a bank holding money, but the memories are money, and the home is the bank. What happens if they aren’t good memories? If they aren’t good, then it’ll still be there to remind you about everything that you did, no matter which emotions you felt. It makes us feel like we can belong somewhere, even if we feel like we don’t belong anywhere. What’s the difference between a home and a house? So, they aren’t necessarily the same thing, but a house is a solid structure that’s a place for you to live in. A home on the other hand, is a place where you feel comfort, safety, love, and other non-tangible items that make you feel good. What is the feeling of home? It really is complicated, the feeling of home, but it's nice, kind, and even warm. It wraps around you, providing you saftey and comfort. It isn’t like a bed giving you comfort and love or your parents giving you safety and love, but it's kind of like a bird's nest giving them safety, comfort, and love, storing all kinds of things. What is in a home? A home can be filled with all sorts of things, from my paper crafts to my mom's skincare products. It’s filled every single inch, sometimes messy, sometimes clean. It has everything we need and everything we wanted. To conclude this, home is a place where I can be myself and let my emotions run around the place. It truly is somewhere magical.
