What a Home Means to Me

A house is not just a building, it's not just bricks and cement, it's a house of memories where I hang out with my family and friends. In my home we watch movies, cuddle under the blanket, drink tea and eat biscuits. My house makes me feel safe and it helps me create new memories with my family. in my home we have pictures of my mom and my dad. We all have photo albums that we look at. It's a nice tradition. It's our favorite thing to do. We also talk about our favorite shows and say who is our favorite character. During Ramadan our house is filled with joy and different types of food. Fasting is a bit awkward to our tummies, but we get along and make jokes and enjoy the atmosphere with no tension. Let’s raise donations for shelters! Not everyone has homes and that nice feeling that comes with them, so let’s support Habitat for Humanity and change people’s lives.
