What Home Means to Me

The word “home” can have many different meanings. Whether home to you is your house, country, school, or even just a place with the people you care about; home to me is a safe place where no one judges you, and you can just be yourself. Home is a place where you go to relax after a hard day of work. Home is your comfy place where you feel safe from the chaos of the world. Home should be a place where you have people supporting you, helping you on your way. Home should be a place where there are people who are proud of you. You shouldn't have to act like something you're not at home; they like you for you. Home isn't always the place as much as it is the people. You need a home in your life. It’s your safe place, happy place, comfy place. Not everyone thinks of the same thing you think of for home, and that's okay. Your home isn't theirs, it's yours. Home to me is my house. When I'm with my family or friends, it's where I sleep and have fun. Home has good memories and bad memories, but at the end of the day, home is home. That's what home means to me, and I believe everyone should have a safe place. Everybody should have a home.
