The Meaning of Home

Everybody has different definitions of home but to me home means 6 different things. Firstly home smells like the candle burning the lovely, relaxing cinnamon scent around the house. The smell goes along with the smell of all our flowers. Further more home tastes like my dads sweet pancakes with maple syrup, butter and strawberries on the side. Home looks like the purple pastel walls in the living room along with the purple plastic flowers and the pink fuzzy blanket along with the white and brown couch. Home sounds like when i get home and my grandma is running the tap and washing dishes. It also sounds like my dog Nikki wagging her tail with excitement. Home feels like a warm hug from my mom welcoming me home. Lastly, home feels like me jumping into my bed and the soft mattress in my bedroom and my foamy pillow.
