What “Home” Means to Me

What home means to me is where I feel I’m most comfortable, protected, and loved. It’s also where I live with my family and they make me feel happy and safe. It's where I can relax and truly be myself, and belong with my family and friends. Home provides a sense of peace and I can be myself without judgement. Home is somewhere you always come back to, unless you're getting a new one. Home is where lots of memories take place, making a place you live into home. Like, I had my birthday party in my home last year. At my party, I got to introduce my home to my friends. They all liked it, and we had lots of fun together in my house and my room. A lot of our furniture also holds great memories, like my bed that has kept me warm on very cold and chilly nights and my couch which I sit on every day. A place you live is always changing, but home is where we live and have love and peace. It’s not only where we live, but it’s the foundation of who we are. Home is also discovering who you are, growing, and finding happiness and love. This is what I think home means to me.
