The Feeling of Home

Home isn’t a thing made out of bricks. Home is where you be yourself and have fun. Home isn’t where you scroll on YouTube , or stare at a screen for 8 hours a day. Home is where you get help from your family with the hard stuff. Home is like a big story of fun stuff, kindness, and relaxation. Not waiting for skincare to go on sale. At my home, we have fun movie nights with delicious snacks, and cuddle up with a cozy blanket. At dinner, it’s like smelling a dream. Not because of the food, it’s because you can smell all the effort that my family put into the food. If my sister and I just fought, my home will give me a big, cozy, cuddle. Home is where you succeed. Not where you fail. But if you do, your amazing family is there to help you. When it is my birthday, I always feel happy. Not because of the presents, it’s because I get to spend time with my family at home. I like when I have a shower at my beautiful home, because I can feel the soap run down from my head to my toes. When my family and I go to a fun place, we take pictures. When we hang up the pictures, it’s like looking at a big story of fun memories. Home is your number – one place to be yourself. You shouldn’t be shy to be who your are at home! Your home won’t judge you for who you are. After having a long day, I like getting into snuggly clothes and chill on my soft couch. My home always makes me feel comfy. Home feels like a big, fluffy, and fun dream, squeezing you. Home feels like a priceless wonderland. Your home should feel like a kindness storm that you can’t get out of. You should be thankful to have a nice home, because, sadly, some people out there don’t have a home. This is the feeling of home.
