Home Sweet Home

When I’m home, I smell the delicious food because I have a family that loves me. Home is not just shelter from the weather; it is a place where kindness reigns. We are truly at home where our heart is; and where our heart is, that is where the happiest moments are found. When I think of happy moments, I think of joyful times and sad moments that have transformed into moments of happiness. When I think of the word "home," I think of the peace among all who are there. I think of all those times when I was frustrated and my mother would come and listen to me. She would help me see things more clearly. Home is not just a structure; it's a place where you feel welcome. Close your eyes, you can feel the moments of joy and love wash over you. You can also feel all the warmth that envelops you and provides a soothing sense of comfort for me. To describe my home, I would say that when you enter, it's like a campfire inviting you in. Your home is full of creative objects that can stimulate your imagination and help you come up with ideas you wouldn't have thought of otherwise. Homes are full of history, some were built in the 1990s. Wherever you go in a house, you can sense or imagine the kind of people who lived there; and all the little details carved into the walls. That's how you know if you feel at home in the house you move into. Always take care of your home, because it takes care of you, even without you realizing it. That's what home means to me.
