Meaning of Home

My home is special! It is a place where memories are shared and food is made by my parents and grandma with love. I usually see my grandma make my cousins and me rice and chicken. I don't really help, but I always ask. My house sometimes smells like my mom’s lavender perfume. Every time I smell it, it soothes me and makes me calm. When I'm downstairs or upstairs, I sometimes hear music. It can be loud, but I don’t mind. I love my mom, my step dad, my papa , my grandma and my uncle. I see my mom and my step dad talking sometimes and it makes me feel happy. Sometimes home can feel lonely, but most of all a home is all I need to keep me company. My home feels cozy and warm and keeps me safe from strong weather. My home is like a shield to me. It feels like whenever I'm going to bed my home will keep me safe from the scary things. I touch my soft bed and feel the warm feeling. It's like a soft sheep and a fluffy dog I might see. My home is the best!
