My Home Sweet Home!

Home means more than just a house. To me, home is where I feel safe, comfortable, and loved. When I think about home, I think about my parents and siblings and how they treat me. My siblings play with me and include me, which makes me feel like I matter. We joke around, make up games, and sometimes get silly, but those moments are special to me. Even when we disagree once in a while, we still care about each other. We don’t stay mad forever, and we always end up being okay again. At home, I feel noticed and appreciated. My family listens to me and treats me well, and that is a big part of what makes home feel warm and happy. Sometimes it is the small details too, like the smell of homemade food when my mom is cooking. It’s not a big, dramatic thing, but it’s a familiar feeling that reminds me of home.
