What Home Means to Me

Home… Where is it? Is it near me? I don't know, but I’ll tell you, you see. A home is somewhere, where you feel safe, where you feel free. Home is special because you have people you can trust and love. It's where you can tell the people that you love anything and you feel free like a dove. You can tell your family anything and they won't laugh at you, A home could be where your warm, a place you can rest, a place you can sleep, a place where you don't need to feel scared. You can feel like you're loved and you're cared for and it pains me to think about people who don't have a warm place to go to. It makes me feel sad when I think about people who don't have a bed, who don't have food or a house or things that they need. A home is special. a home is safe. My home is special, my home is safe. Let's help other people feel that way. Home is a safe place. Habitat is home wherever your loved is, home is where you're cared for, home is where you have people that you love, that's home.
