A Safe Place Called Home

A safe place to breathe A safe place to feel all the emotions A safe place to talk A safe place to do anything you wish That safe place is home It’s where I feel brave Like I can fight a dragon It makes me happy Like I could jump up and down forever Home is so important to me It’s the place that reminds me Of who I am And to never ever give up When im upset it gives me the biggest warmest hug ever And makes me feel special like no one else Home is the one place that doesn't care What I look like or how I act It treats me just the same as everyone else Home is multiple places to me Home is with my family all enjoying a meal together Or me and my friends laughing and having a blast together It could even be by myself sitting at a fireplace I love my home and my home loves me
