What does home mean to me?

Home is like a bird's nest. In a bird’s nest the bird starts its life in an egg and after growing, it leaves its nest to start a new home. Just like a bird and its nest, we also start in our mother's womb (our first home in the real sense), we blossom and move out to start a new home. A bird looks after her chicks until they are ready to fly out. Similarly, we have our parents to protect us, nurture us and finally we move out to start our own life and make another home. In my opinion, a home is built by the people living in it rather than bricks. Home travels with me as I am with my family. In my home the smallest things mean the most to me such as hugs and being together as a family in all types of situations. We make memories by celebrating different festivals and happy moments, including being together in activities we love such as cooking, playing games, and more, encouraging our loved ones in their sad moments. We are taught to live with different personalities within our home, which teaches us to accept people the way they are. Home is a magical place which makes everyone feel welcomed and warm. Home can be as small as an ant or as big as an elephant. It can be as short as a hummingbird or as tall as a giraffe. No matter how big, small, short or tall a home is, it should feel cozy and comfortable. In my home, there is laughter and joy. A home is the perfect place for new ideas and inventions. Home is where I am free like a bird in the sky flying without limits. It is where I know I belong.
