A Roof Under My Head

The difference between a house and a home is that a house is just a building or a random place. Home is a place where you make memories, you laugh and you spend time with your family and stand by their side at all times, all with a roof over your head. In my opinion, home means having a building you live in and filled with love. A home is the place where you make memories and play with your siblings and just watch a movie on a Friday night peacefully with your family. All with a roof over your head. My home is special because of my family. My family is always loving and joyous. My family always hugs me when I get home from school and they always help me on my homework. Sometimes my family gets mad at me because I did something wrong but that is my fault and I always say sorry after. Saying sorry with a roof over my head. My favourite place in my home is my basement because it has a lot of things I need like I have a mini fridge with drinks and a freezer with food. It also has a pool table, air hockey and a ping pong table. My Nintendo switch is also in the basement we put it on the t.v. Whenever I am playing the Nintendo switch with my friends or family we always go to the basement and that is why the basement is my favourite place in my home, with a roof over my head. One moment I will always remember is when a priest from St. John of the cross came to my house to bless my new home. When he came to bless my house I was having my birthday party. The priest took a folder said the prayer and we were all thankful to have a blessed home and a roof over our heads.
