Home Isn't Just a Building

To me, home isn't just a building. Home is where I feel safe and loved by my family. When I hug my Mom, play with my sister, or help my Dad with fixing something, I know I’m home. Whenever my Mom is cooking delicious recipes for me and my family and smell the aroma of the food, I feel a sense of warmth filling the air. Home doesn’t feel like home without my family because whenever I’m around my family I feel happiness and comfort. What really makes my home a happy place is my toy car collection. This is really important to me because since I was four years old I had an obsession with cars, and whenever someone talks about cars I feel this energy to just talk about them. Home is an unbreakable place filled with fun, laughter, happiness, warmth, and peace. When I wake up at six in the morning and hear the birds chirping, I feel very calm and relaxed. Whenever I lay down in bed, or sit on my coach to watch a movie, there is a feeling of warmth and joy filling the air. So after all, home isn’t just a building at all, it's a place where I feel happy, loved, comforted, and make memories I will never forget.
