Home, maison, घर (ghar), Casa, 宅 (ie) and haus; everyone has a home, no matter where you’re from. I am a military kid and I love the word home. The way you say it, with a smile on your face. The way you sleep and play in it. But what I have learnt these past few years is that home is not just a building, it’s a place where you feel happy, safe and loved; its with family. It is where you grow and where you sleep, where you eat. It’s where you love and where you heal. It could be a country; it could be a feel. It could be both, its up to you. My home is Australia, but it is also Toronto. It is earth, but it is also my house. Home is all around me, you too. We all have one, no matter where you’re from. Trust me, its true, its where you belong, Home.
