Growing Up In My Home

Growing up in my house was a wild experience because you could consider our house a rainforest with the sheer amount of animals we've had over the years. Over the years we've had A LOT OF BIRDS, a dog, 2 cats, 2 fish, a frog and we even took care of a sugar glider for about 2 weeks. My home is unique and special to me and I love it, so what makes a home? Homes to me are a place you belong, like a turtle in its shell. Someone's “HOME” is where they belong and it could be a country or a building or even somewhere they just “like”. When I get home I hear the birds chirping, I see the birds flying, I smell dinner being made, and I feel safe, away from the outside world, home. This familiarity is relaxing and calming. There is nothing unexpected….. Usually. In conclusion a house is a building, a home is a place that is special to you. It is a pleasure I can’t feel anywhere else. It is safe.
