By: Jack MacDonald Home isn't just a place. Today I will be talking about all the things a home is. One of the things I will be talking about is how a home provides shelter for you and your family. After that I will talk about all the activities you and your family do together. Next I will be talking about all the fun things you can learn to do.Finally i will sum up everything a home is in the final paragraph. One of the things that makes a home a home is that it provides shelter from the outside world and makes you feel safe. It's where you can relax, be yourself, and find peace. In your home you have your favorite things around you. Which makes it feel warm and inviting. When you’re inside , the world outside seems far away, and you can enjoy moments with family and friends. A home protects you from the worries of life,giving you a sense of belonging and love. It's a place where memories are made, and where you always feel welcome. Family is a source of joy and support, especially when gathered together in a home. In this safe space, we enjoy fun activities like playing games or watching movies. Sometimes my family and I play hockey or soccer too,it's lots of fun because we have a big basement with a TV and books. Also the best part about this is that all this happens in a home where we belong as a family. That's another reason why a home isn't just a home. In a home you can learn lots of things.One of the things you can learn in a home is to build things with your family like a toy or a cool bench.Another thing you could learn is how to make food like eggs or grilled cheese.You can also learn how to play sports like soccer or baseball. That is another reason why a home isn't just a home. All of these reasons are why a home isn't just a home. To sum everything up, reason number 1 is that a home provides shelter during bad weather. Reason number 2 is how comforting and all the activities you can do in a home. Reason number three was about all the stuff you can learn in a home.thats why i think a home isnt just a home.
