Home Isn't Just a Building

You may think home is just a house, but today I'm going to change that. A house is a building people live in but this is a home: To me home is a guiding light, a place where you can play with your friends and family eating snacks and being comfortable with laughter filling the hallways. A place you can hide under your covers and watch a show. If home had a taste it would be your favorite snack. If home had a smell it would be your grandma's cookies. If home had a sound it would be your favorite song. I feel if you are mad, sad, upset or angry then you can go into your house and all the problems just go away. We should be grateful that we have a home because some people don’t. Home is a place you can learn, play and relax. Home is a place where you can call your friends. A place where you can feel happy and play Roblox. Home is a place where you can watch a movie with your friends and family while eating popcorn. It’s a place where I can sit on my bed and read a book. When I sit down at the table and bite into my delicious food my mom or dad bakes I’m feeling loved the entire time. That is what home is.
