A Home
A home means a place where I can explore and have a great time. I also like hanging out with my family and playing board games, laughing while we all enjoy our time together. A home also means being safe, even when you are sick. But your family will always be there to help you, even if you have an annoying brother or sister who will always tease you. In reality, they love you and will be there to protect you, even if you get bullied or hurt by older kids.
A home is also a place where you can rely on for shelter—to be comfy, safe, or even protected in some situations, like being chased by a stranger. Shelter is very helpful in a lot of different situations of danger. But we all are very lucky that we get a place to live in. Lots of families don’t get to live in these fun, cozy, and warm places that other families get to enjoy. So the next time you think of this, think differently and in a nicer way, and try to understand them a little better because you don’t know what they have been through.
Home is not just a place. It is a special place where you probably also took your first steps or started walking. So if that happened, you should keep that in mind or ask your mom or dad for the whole story, because they’re going to have a great story in mind. Make sure you listen to the whole story closely. So the next time you ask them, make sure to listen to the whole story of your home.
