The Meaning of Home

What home is to me personally is like a big hug of love. home is like the smell of my moms homemade cookies warm and safe. Home is a safe place to be loved, appreciated, to be yourself and to get away from it all. Get away from all the bullying and the rude comments. Home isn't just a place, it's not just to sleep, eat and breathe, it's a place to appreciate everyone, to be loved and to love. When I'm at home I feel safe, loved and loving. I smell my moms burning candles and banana bread. I taste my dads egg sandwich. I hear pots clicking together while my dad makes pot roast in the kitchen, and I see my dog waiting for me to get home from school.
