Home Sweet Home
When I am home it’s like a giant blanket covering me up nice and warm. When I walk through the doors I smell my mom’s yummy cooking. In my room I feel the familiar cozy feeling in my bed. Home isn't just a place where you sleep and live, it is the place where your loved ones and family are. A house is made of walls, floors, ceilings and rooms. Then a home has furniture and that feeling of safety. It is a place to get away from all the bullies and worries in the world. When I get home from school I hear my dogs barking like crazy!! I see my family at the dinner table talking together. I taste my Mom’s fresh bread, muffins and lots more that she brings to the table and stuff she puts in our lunches. At my home I love to hang out with my animals. I love when my cat comes into the house for an hour or two. I also love to play with my three dogs outside. Two of them will play with anything including large sticks and any kind of dog toy even socks and shoes! I am very lucky to have a home like I just described in and out. Lots of families don’t have a home. I hope you enjoyed reading about what home means to me. I hope families from Habitat For Community have similar experiences as me.
THANK YOU!!!
