The Meaning of Home

Today I am going to talk about the meaning of home. For me home is a place for happiness, hugs and emotions like sadness, excitement and anger. When you walk up to your door it seems very welcoming. At home you can be yourself and enjoy playing with your family. When you come out for dinner you see your family sitting at the table. You can hear a lot of beautiful voices in the living room. When I'm sitting on the chair at the dinner table I hear laughter from my family. I can hear my dog barking outside my window. At home it can be quiet or loud or funny. You can hear a movie that you recognize playing when you are reading in your room. At home I can hear beautiful birds chirping in the trees. When you have a sleepover at someone's house it is pretty fun to be in a different house for a bit. When you think of your family in your bed it becomes very warm. You always love your family no matter what and your pets too. It is amazing that you have a family because they will love you forever and ever. I love my family, no matter how mad I am at them. Home means a place for family to me and that is why I think everyone should have a house. Home is a great place to play with your family. At home I have so much fun with my amazing family. Home is a cozy place to relax with my family watching TV on the couch and it protects me from bad weather such as rain, lightning or thunder. When I step into my house, I can smell cookies baking in the oven. Also, on the Christmas tree you can see your family’s ornaments. Under the Christmas tree you can see a lot of presents. You really want to open them and when it is Christmas you get to open them. You get to play with your presents with your family in your home. It can be very fun playing with your family in your home. For example, you can play a board game with your family, or you can play tag with your family. It is very fun playing with your family at my home! And that is why I think everyone should have a home to enjoy with their family.
