The Meaning of Home

Home means having a roof over my head. It's like having a sleepover at someone's house. If there is bad weather a roof protects you. It is a place to relax and enjoy your life. You get to feel so many emotions. For example, Joy, Anger, Sadness, Excitement and so many more. It’s a place to feel very safe. You should feel so much comfort at home. My house smells like my dog. My grandparents’ house smells like their dog. I like that smell. Home is a place for family and friends. I get to play video games at my house with my dad. I usually play card games with my family, and it is so much fun. At home I get to be myself. When I get home, I usually want to sleep and in 5 minutes my parents let me sleep. While I am sleeping, I think of how grateful and thankful I am for having a house. I get to be free and pave my own path. I get to choose what I want to do. I get to live in a great big comfortable house. You can smell cookies in the oven. You can see your family. Home means a lot to me but most of all it's a place I can be with my family. Home is a place to have your own stuff. I love doing a bunch of things at home. For example, I love doing math! It is so much fun! I love my home so much. Home is where you spend the most time. First home is with your parents and then you leave to make a home for yourself. I think about happy things when I am at home. Home is a place to make memories. I think everyone should have a home.
