The Meaning of Home

Home is important to many people because they can be free, spend time with their loved ones and be safe. To me the meaning of home is important because I can be myself. It makes me feel warm, like eating cookies from the oven on a snowy day. My house holds memories, love, joy and moments. Also, I can hear laughter while playing a board game with my family or maybe I can hear birds chirping in the morning. Next, I am always relaxed to see that my family is happy at home. I also love to see that my room is well organized and filled with my hobbies, personality and positive thoughts. My home gives me joy, happiness and comfort. Also, I love it when me and my family make a fort in my house because I love hearing and seeing them laughing. My house is filled with laughter, happiness and smiles. Sometimes I think about my parents smiling and looking at their new happy place. A lot of people think that their house is made out of bricks or wood and they are right but its also made with time and patience. My home is not just a building, my home is very unique, bright and beautiful and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I also can’t imagine life without it. My house is very lively, comfy, active and sometimes a bit messy, but it is amazing and I love my home just the way it is and that is why I hope that everyone can have a home so that they can feel the same way.
