Wherever Home Is

To me, home is a place where you can feel comfortable and safe with the people you love, no matter where it is. When I think of home it can bring many memories, some happy, some not, but whatever happens I know it will always be there for me. In my home I can feel many things but most of all I know I will always be loved no matter where I go. I will always know that I have a place to go if I just remember my home. For me my home is wherever my family is or the smell of the home cooked dinners every night. For me home can be anywhere as long as I have the people I love and they love me.To me, home is more than just a place to sleep and eat, but it is a place to learn and grow. Home isn’t just a building or a location, it’s a feeling of love and comfort that I know will always stay with me. Home can be an object, a smell, a person, or even a place, whatever makes you feel safe. A home can be small or big, it could be a town or a culture, even a candle or a stuffed animal. Even if I’m a thousand miles away, I will always know home will be with me through the people I trust and the things I have learned. Maybe in the future when I have had many homes, what really counts is the lessons I took away from them. Even when you're at home no more, always remember to bring something special that has a piece of home within it. So in the end wherever I go I will always know home will be with me.
