Home isn’t just a place, home is a time capsule of memories that you won’t forget, even if you try, a home is a safe haven where you come together with your family to cherish celebrations and laugh at jokes in the living room. Home makes you excited after a long day, it makes you thrilled to see the people that you love and what brings you joy. When you come home, there are two people that are always waiting to ask about your day, and give you hugs and kisses even if you have a bad day. Your parents are the ones who will always be there and support you every step of the way until you are okay to go on your own. Imagine learning how to ride a bike, your parents are like the training wheels, preparing you to ride on only two wheels. It isn’t just a roof and walls, your family are the ones that steady your heart when life shakes it fast, when you fall apart, they are the ones that will pull you back together. Home is the warmth in a freezing winter, the light in all the darkness. When you fall down, they pull you up and say “Keep trying”. Home is where you can express your feelings and can’t be judged. Home is my reminder that everything beyond the door changes, but the love inside remains the same. When I’m drifting away, home is my anchor to keep me steady and firm in raging storms.
