The Meaning of Home To Me

Home is more than bricks and beams, More than windows full of sunlit dreams. It’s where my mornings slowly start, With warm pancakes and an open heart. It’s the sound of laughter down the hall, The steady catch if I ever fall. A place where stories fill the air, And every room holds comfort there. Home is where my worries fade, Where promises and plans are made. Where even on the hardest days, I’m met with kindness in small ways: a silly joke, a gentle cheer, a voice that says, I’m always here. It’s where my backpack hits the floor, And I don’t have to prove much more Than being my truest part With messy hair and a giant heart. Home is weekend games and late-night talks, Movie blankets and starlit walks. It’s learning who I want to be, Watched over by my family. But most of all, home means a space Where love stays strong in every place.A world that moves at my own pace, A shelter built of hope and grace. So if you ask what home might be? It’s where my life grows wild and free.
